Looking for a local pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayride, gourds and other Halloween activities in East-Central Florida? Scroll down this page and you will see the all of those in East-Central Florida, sorted by county. Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands. Most have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. ALWAYS call before you go to confirm the info, they don't always report changes to me!

Its a great day trip for couples, families, scouts, schools...anyone. I purchased the Living Social deal for the Spookley The Square Pumpkin event. It was Great! It included a VERY nice Spookley story book, a tractor ride out to their little theater house so we could watch the movie, a package of kettle Korn and a free pumpkin for all 4 of us! Their wristbands for their other activities were well priced at $10.00. A jumping pillow, the blue Cow ride and a pony ride rounded out our fantastic day! This place is truly a gem for little ones and older ones alike! They not only have a great fall pumpkin festival. Their Christmas Holiday weeks are great too! "

Visit the "Creepy Crawly Barn" for a close encounter with reptilian wonders. Find your way through the hay maze if you can. The "Pumpkin Patch" will be open. Where else can you milk a goat, pet a bristly pig, touch a chicken, or feed a cow? Since 1980 our family owned farm has allowed visitors to pet and feed a variety of animals and see wildlife up close. Hand feed our beef cattle, watch for llamas and ostriches on the hayride. The wildlife display is currently home to deer, birds of prey, tortoises and exotic animals. The old red barn even has a baby alligator on display. After all, it is Florida. That is why we say "We are more than a petting farm, we are almost a zoo!" Admission is charged.

We loved the exotic animals, the hay maze, the hay ride (cows came right up to the wagon!). The staff was very friendly, felt like we were visiting with the actual farmers (maybe they are?). Well worth the price of admission, and I can't wait to go back! We've been to lots of fall experiences and this is our favorite!"

    A visitor writes on September 26, 2014: "I am a Celebration resident and avoid this pumpkin patch. The set-up is great. It is well decorated with great photo opportunities and pumpkins galore. The problem is the staff. They are grumpy old men who rudely gouge you in the name of charity. When I asked how much they actually replied "how much you got?" and he wasn't smiling. during the same visit I saw staff YELLING at several kids for running and being kids. They also pressure you to buy or donate if you take a picture within the patch. A shame because it truly is a charming pumpkin patch on church property. "
    A visitor writes on July 15, 2013: "This listing is correct in that it is a pumpkin patch but you forgot to mention that it is only for the super rich residents of Celebration FL. I went here in 2012 and was told that the pumpkins were based on donation and the proceeds go to charity. When my family picked out pumpkins we were told that the donation price was $375 for 5 pumpkins and that was the "expected" donation. When I told the worker that telling me a price was not a donation he became belligerent. (he even said that "the stem alone on one of the pumpkins was worth $25)! Needless to say that $75 a pumpkin is a little outrageous even for charity. One very sad thing that I saw was a mother of 2 children measuring pumpkins because she could not afford to pay the "donation" and did not want to leave empty handed. I saw many people pick out pumpkins, learn the "Price" and leave because it was ridiculous! BTW - have been to many pumpkin patches recommended on this site in Colorado and had just recently moved to FL when I went to the Celebration Patch in 2012. Celebration patch was far from anything that is normal for pumpkin prices.".
