Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands. All should have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. Talladay Farms - corn maze
6270 Judd Rd Milan, MI 48160. Phone: (734) 439-2313. The mazes cover 25 acres with almost 10 miles of total paths. We have 2 mazes. One maze takes about 45-60 minutes to go through and the other maze takes about an hour to an hour and a half to go through. Both mazes are included in the price and you can do both if you wish! Right next to the maze is Wasem's Apple Orchard. Here you can pick your own apples and pumpkins and enjoy homemade donuts and apple cider. The maze and orchard make a nice trip together. A visitor writes on October 03, 2011: "We went to Waird's this weekend and were greatly disappointing that to pick either apples or pumpkins, we had to pay $12.50 per person to get in and then also pay for the produce. The handful of activities they have in addition to the picking is really not worth the $12.50. It was a total rip-off. I thought you may want to add this information so people who are looking to pick produce know how excessively expensive this place is. "
