This page provides a detailed list of East-Central Michigan's pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hay rides and other Halloween farm stuff!!   Just scroll down this page! Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands.  All should have loads of pumpkins to choose from.  To really make it fun for  your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride.  There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the  more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. ALWAYS call before you go to confirm all information, they don't always report changes to me!

Mid July-October a full line of homegrown produce, corn tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, melons, pumpkins, squash, Fall raspberries, hardy field-grown mums. Nov.-December wreaths and grave blankets. Open May 1st thru late June, Monday-Saturday, 9 am-7 pm, Sun. 11 am-6 pm, Mid July-late October, Monday-Saturday, 9 am-7 pm, Sun. 11 am-6 pm, Nov.-December, Christmas season, Monday-Saturday, 10 am-5 pm, Sun. 12-4 pm. Possible early and extended hours in peak seasons. Directions: From Saginaw: From I-75 take M-46 E (Holland) to Sandusky Exit, then 28 miles to M-24 (Mertz Road) turn right at light, then three quarters mile; From Pontiac: Take M-24 N thru Lapeer, then 24 more miles N on M-24. 3862 Mertz Rd.   • Tuscola County Pumpkin Festival - festival
    Tuscola County fairgrounds, Caro, MI. Phone: (989) 673-2511. Email: info@tuscolapumpkinfest.com. Directions: I-75 to M-81 exit; 1/2 hour East of Saginaw. Admission and parking is free. Open: see the website for this year's dates ( October 1 - 5, 2008) . Attracts nearly 50,000 visitors each year to the 4-day event, which takes place annually on the first weekend in October starting on a Thursday. Events include the Grande Parade, 5k road race, pie eating contest, pumpkin seed spitting contest, free matinee movie, a haunted house, millionaire's party, battle of the bands and inflatable playground with the Grande Parade held on Sunday afternoon.
