Looking for a local pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayride, gourds and other Halloween activities in Montgomery and southeastern Alabama area? Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands. Most have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. ALWAYS call before you go to confirm the info, they don't always report changes to me!

We have one of the largest sheep flocks in the state of Alabama. Watch trained Border Collies herd the sheep. We also have chickens, ducks, racing pigeons, Min. horses, rabbits and other farm animals. We also have a hay maze and corn boxes for the children (they love this!) We have a fun hay ride (nothing scary)approximately 20 minutes. We also have a picnic area with lots of tables, so pack a lunch. We have a play area for the kids. Of course, a trip to to pick something from Ms.Candy's pumpkin / ornamental gourd patch. The cost in 2008 is $8.00 per child $5.00 per adult (excluding Teachers, Teachers Aides and Bus Drivers). This includes everything above including a pumpkin or gourd for each child to take home.
