This page provides a detailed list of Northern Florida's pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hay rides and other Halloween farm stuff!! Just scroll down this page! Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands. All should have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. A visitor writes on October 25, 2009: "five stars. I went with my wife kids( 6 and 3) and my mom. everyone had great fun. kids loved the corn maze and the hay ride where they also fed the cows. great outdoor activity for kids."
A visitor writes on October 17, 2009: "Our family visited this farm today October 17, 2009. We had a fantastic time. We live in Florida and it is hard to find a place to get the feel of Autumn. We are from upstate New York and always long for the kind of pumkin patches we had there. We traveled to North Georgia last year to get some Autumn scenery, but found Coon Hollo to just the ticket this year and it is right in our own back yard. The owners were friendly and accomodating. The Corn Maze was out of this world, and the Hay Ride was 35 minutes long and went over hill and over dale through the woods and back again. Our kids are 11, 9, and 5, boys and girls - there was something to do that was age appropriate for everyone. There was a little country store, and a concession type food stand. The setting was perfect - in the country, on an actual farm property. The only down side was that there weren't many pumpkins, and they don't have any farm animals (1 cow)that you can get up close and personal with. We spent two and a half hours there, and our kids loved it. I do think the admission ticket price was a little high it was $33 for our family of 5, but everything was included. We'll definitely go back next year if they do it again." - The Pickin' Patch - pumpkin

A visitor writes on October 25, 2010: "We took the trip from Jacksonville to visit Magnolia Farms on Oct. 24. It was a very interesting experience. Not at all what I had pictured from the description is found on multiple websites, including their own. At day we visited, there were no corn mazes, no hayrides, no face painting. There were plenty of animals about though, and my son quite enjoyed that. If you go for the "milk goat tour" be prepared for some rather explicit information about breeding. If your kids don't know about the birds and the bees, you may want to skip the tour. I do think the entry price was a bit steep for what was offered. The pumpkin selection was somewhat slim, but we did manage to find four nice ones. The produce was nice and the pumpkin muffins were tasty. Overall, we had a good time and I greatly respect the work they are doing there, but I think next year, we will find something a little more kid friendly. "
