Find a local pumpkin patch

Looking for a local pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayride, gourds and other Halloween activities in Northern Georgia?  Scroll down this page and you will see the all of thoses in Northern Georgia, sorted by county. Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands.  Most have loads of pumpkins to choose from.  To really make it fun for  your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride.  There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the  more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. ALWAYS call before you go to confirm the info, they don't always report changes to me!

And if you know of one I missed and want to add it or correct the information, please let me know!   If you are looking for pumpkin weigh-offs and the US and world's largest pumpkins, see this page! Want to do a fundraiser selling pumpkins? See this page!

Finally, my boys are in Boy Scouts and raising money for their troop and their trips and activitites, so if you are looking for popcorn (many types), coffee or to donate to both the Socuts and U.S. miltary troops, click here and help the scouts!

A visitor writes on September 11, 2010: "Burt's Farm is an annual part of our family's fall activities, we take the 4 1/2 hour drive at least once during Autumn to take a hayride, look at pumpkins, take tons of pictures and eat fried pies and their other goodies. We believe it is worth the long drive from South Georgia to Dawsonville. Burt's has the most incredible atmosphere of fall harvest fun and old fashioned 'sweetness' that you can hardly find anywhere anymore. Pumpkins are available in every conceivable size and variety whether you plan to decorate, cook or just admire them- if you don't see a pumpkin you want at Burt's, you won't find one anywhere. Please don't skip a visit to Burt's if you are a pumpkin farm fan, it is worth the drive for the photo ops alone! My concern is finding a way to explain a need to go to Burt's when our kids are grown! Some things you never outgrow, I believe Burt's Farm is one of those things. Happy Pumpkin Hunting! "

A visitor writes on September 28, 2014: "My family visited Freeman Springs Farm this weekend and had a wonderful time. It was absolutely the best hayride I have ever been on. The gentleman stopped for a long time to let the children feed the cows, donkeys and miniature horse. He stayed there until the children were finished feeding the animals. The owners stopped to talk with us several times during our visit. The corn maize wasn't huge but it was big enough to get lost in! The pumpkins were great and reasonably priced. The petting area was fun. Someone was there to help and hand out food for the children to feed the goats. I haven't ever been to a place that I felt more welcomed! We had a marvelous time, and spent hours looking at the beautiful farm and playing!!"
