This page provides a detailed list of Missouri's pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hay rides and other Halloween farm stuff!!   Click here to see the listings of pumpkin patches, corn mazes and farms in Missouri or just scroll down the page! Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands.  All should have loads of pumpkins to choose from.  To really make it fun for  your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride.  There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the  more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. ALWAYS call before you go to confirm all information, they don't always report changes to me!

We have loads of related resources here, too.

On our Pick-your-own website, we also have pages with our own simple instructions on canning, freezing and drying  many other fruits and vegetables, such as  how to make jam, apple butter, applesauce, spaghetti sauce, salsa, pickles, ketchup or freezing corn  (these links open new pages, just close them to return here).   Be sure to come back at Christmas if you are looking for a cut-your-own Christmas tree farm!   Look at the bottom of the page for links to resources on home canning, picking tips, recipes, etc..

I'm always looking for more to add and feedback about any patch, stand or farm you have visited, so write me using the Feedback form!  And if you have a farm and want to add it or correct the information, please click on Add My Farm!

A visitor writes on October 29, 2011: "My family went to the Prairie Hollow Pumpkin Patch and was incredibly disappointed. It is absolutely not worth your time or money. They have you pay at the gate and all the activities are up a hill behind a row of trees....so you can not see the sparseness until you have already spent the money to get in. It cost $8.00 per adult to get in and $7.00 for age 5-12. You pay and then go to the hay ride which just takes you around the corner and up a hill to the 'activities'....you, then, immediately notice how little there is to do...there is only 1 hay maze which is actually mostly fencing with black tarp over it and a few hay bales...and takes 2 seconds to go through....very little effort seems to have gone into its' design. Then there is a very tiny hay path (not even a maze) with maybe 15-20 bales that kids can walk through... takes 1 second. There were 2 large tractor tiles with plastic sheeting and a small amount of corn to play in and a bean bag toss. A petting zoo with only 4 animals...2 goats which were caged up such that you could not even get to them; 2 calves... and then you could watch chickens in another caged off area. Again, very sparse. These were the only things to do for the price of your admission. There is a 'kiddie train' ride that does one loop in a square for $2.00 per child that we did not do; pony ride that does 2 very small walks back and forth for $2.00. Very lame and very sparse....DO NOT waste your money or your time!! They also are not pro-customer satisfaction; they could care less that you are not pleased with their farm as they have gotten your money before you saw that you were throwing it away and then refuse to refund it. No corn maze as advertised. 'Pumpkin patch' was a few pumpkins thrown around a field...not many of them; none on the vine; not really a "pumpkin patch". Again DO NOT waste your time/money at this patch. No wonder they don't have pix of their patch on their website!!!"

They have corn stalks, Indian corn, beautiful mums, hay maze, petting zoo, horse and wagon rides, and more! They are a small family owned business in a small town and we are lucky to have them! My kids and many others look forward to going there every year! Very friendly people! They have Christmas trees during the holidays also! I think they deserve a listing here! We, as a family including a 5year old and a 9year old love it! My children have been going there as long as they were able to pick up a pumpkin, which used to be a very small pumpkin and is now becoming a quite large pumpkin of many shapes, varieties, and colors!!! Their pumpkin supply was effected by all the flooding in Missouri this year so they have a lower supply, but still a very nice selection with great pricing!" A visitor writes on October 18, 2010: "Just and FYI - they do not "gather pumpkins" from the fields.. they were not "picked from the fields" they were in fact - SHIPPED IN. In the back of the property line were huge cardboard bins filled with pumpkins that you would see at the grocery store or your local Wal Mart. We were VERY disapointed and felt it was bad advertising and much to much money for the activities they had. Also, AFTER you paid $6.00 a person (a 4 year old was also $6.00..) many of the "activities" (minus a few) you had to pay an ADDITIONAL amount for. (You had to pay $5.00 or $6.00 for face painting..) Anyway, we will not go back to Faulkners Ranch."
