This page provides a detailed list of Nevada's pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hay rides and other Halloween farm stuff!! Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands. All should have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. ALWAYS call before you go to confirm all information, they don't always report changes to me!

Open 27th August - 30th October. Lattin Farms is in Fallon Nevada, about 30 miles east of Reno. They have fresh bread, home-canned jams and jellies, homemade gifts, etc. They also have Heart'o'gold melons (the very best!), corn, pumpkins, and on and on. They also have a huge corn maze. They have bridges built over it with workers to get people out that get lost. They have farm animals and a bunch of activities for the kids.

A visitor writes on September 27, 2010: "Went to visit Gilcrease Orchards from Kingman, Arizona and it was well worth the two hour drive. They had beautiful apples and zucchini and pickling cucumbers. One correction to your site is that they are only open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 7 am - noon. It was a great place with friendly folks and WONDERFUL apple cider that they press right there on site. Highly recommend this place to other folks. Get there early - they start to get busy the later you wait and then the good stuff is gone."
