This page provides a detailed list of Dallas / Fort Worth and surrounding counties's pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hay rides and other Halloween farm stuff!! Just scroll down this page! Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands. All should have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. ALWAYS call before you go to confirm all information, they don't always report changes to me!

Hay rides are $2 and there are lots of free activities. We have 2 mazes, a hay-play and jump barn, and indoor restrooms. A visitor writes on September 28, 2009: "Ive taken my family to this farm two different years and been there with a public school field trip. Be aware that these folks are "heavy" on the Christian side. We went on the hay ride, where they killed the engine and talked about Jesus to everyone in the trailer, whether we wanted to hear it or not. This really isnt appropriate for a Public school outing, especially. I liked the farm but think I will choose another this year that is more about pumpkins and less about church.

We only started going to them about 2 months ago so am not sure of all that you pick, but do know that right now there is a pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins for Halloween and then they have pie pumpkins separately. We have picked Black-eyed peas and two others that I am not sure of the name. During strawberry time you can pick your own and as time goes on I know that we will find more and more that we can pick. Also, tomatoes will be available in a few weeks"
