This page provides a detailed list of Houston, south east Texas and surrounding counties's pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hay rides and other Halloween farm stuff!! Just scroll down this page! Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands. All should have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. ALWAYS call before you go to confirm all information, they don't always report changes to me!

A visitor writes on October 18, 2009: "My family drove an hour and half on Sunday, October 18th only to be told by an employee of the farm that the farm had had record admission all weekend and lines inside the farm were long for any of the activities. The farm was running out of food and drinks and the bathrooms weren't working. Bottom line, they hadn't been prepared for the number of people who had come to the farm. While we appreciate the honesty of the employee, it was disappointing. I would suggest to anyone having to drive quite a distance with children to call the farm first and see how crowded it is. As for the farm, I would suggest limiting admission in some way to better manage your facilities." -
