Although most pumpkin patches and corn mazes are now closed, it is time to tag your Christmas tree at a local Christmas tree farm (and enjoy a bonfire, smore, hot chocolate and free hayrides, and often Santa visits! Vermont Maple Syrup Open House Weekend - March - The Annual Vermont Maple Open House Weekend will be held at sugarhouses throughout Vermont and is an opportunity for the public to visit one or more maple syrup "sugarhouses" throughout the state. Activities during Open House Weekend will be different at each sugarhouse but will include the opportunity to watch maple syrup being made (weather permitting) and often sample maple products.
