This page provides a
detailed list of Wyoming's pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hay rides
and other Halloween farm stuff!! Just scroll down this
page! Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some
are simple roadside stands. All should have loads of pumpkins to choose
from. To really make it fun for your kids, look for those that have
the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride. There is
usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the more elaborate mazes
tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free.
ALWAYS call before you go to confirm all information, they don't always report changes to me!
We have loads of related resources
here, too.
On our Pick-your-own website, we also have pages with our own
simple
instructions on canning, freezing and drying many other fruits and
vegetables, such as how to make jam, apple
butter, applesauce, spaghetti
sauce, salsa, pickles,
ketchup or freezing
corn (these links open new pages, just close them to return here). Be sure to come back at Christmas if you are looking
for a cut-your-own Christmas tree farm!
Look at the bottom of the page for links to resources on home canning, picking
tips, recipes, etc..
I'm always looking for
more to add and feedback about any patch, stand or farm you have visited, so write me using the Feedback
form! And if you have
a farm and want to add it or correct the information, please click on Add My Farm!

run out or change events, times, etc. without notifying me!
I've found very few pumpkin patches and corn mazes in
Wyoming There must be some more; surely not everyone has their own farm
there. Do you know of any pumpkin patches, corn mazes,

(UPDATED: September 08, 2009) A visitor writes on October 16,
2009: "I have been to this pumpkin patch several times over the years
since it started. I LOVE IT! It all started from a trip to a different
pumpkin patch in Nebraska because that was the closest we had to this town.
(a 90 mile drive on a bus full of kids) A bus broke down and the Family that
owns this one was challenged to grow a pumpkin patch. It was a hit right
off. They have sheep, lamas, Horses, cows, goats and i can't even remember
what else. They have a Hay ride pulled with the tractor. Most often you can
seen young calves, baby goats, and other critters. The woman, Beth, is
wonderful with the kids and will take the time to talk to the kids and reads
stories on field trips. We have had hot chocolate and candy apples and other
such treats for the Halloween-fall time of year. Maybe one day we can talk
her into a corn maze(:o) I don't think she has been challenged with that
yet."
