Find a local pumpkin patch

Looking for a local pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayride, gourds and other Halloween activities in Central New York State?  Scroll down this page and you will see the all of thoses in Central New York State, sorted by county. Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands.  Most have loads of pumpkins to choose from.  To really make it fun for  your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride.  There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the  more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. ALWAYS call before you go to confirm the info, they don't always report changes to me!

And if you know of one I missed and want to add it or correct the information, please let me know!   If you are looking for pumpkin weigh-offs and the US and world's largest pumpkins, see this page! Want to do a fundraiser selling pumpkins? See this page!

Finally, my boys are in Boy Scouts and raising money for their troop and their trips and activitites, so if you are looking for popcorn (many types), coffee or to donate to both the Socuts and U.S. miltary troops, click here and help the scouts!

The prices are exceptionally reasonable..They offer pumpkin varieties that are hard to find anywhere else ( albino, hubbard, enormously oversized lol) The on sight food they sell is fantastic. Kids can't resist the barn below to go see the animals and pet them. It' a very relaxed and affordable atmosphere that allows for a fantastic fall day in CNY."

A visitor writes on October 25, 2012: "My family began going to Pumpkin Pete's following the horrible Schoharie county flooding in 2011 on the premise that we were supporting a local farmer. Pumpkin Pete's is not local-they are only weekenders! The pumpkin patch itself was swell enough. The "petting zoo" was a collection of animals in knee-high mud with a pair of breeding goats! If you are looking for a truly local upstate NY experience this is not it. "
