Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands. All should have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. ALWAYS call before you go to confirm all information, they don't always report changes to me!

A visitor writes on October 23, 2011: "Lost $100 and left with no hayride, no pumpkins, 30 minutes in a corn maze and the little kids got to be pulled by a wagon for 10 minutes. We arrive at 5pm, pay $72 to enter and $20 in concession foods for 10 ppl, never told they CLOSE at 6pm. The petting zoo was 4 goats and 1 goose that were UNReachable. Small amount of pumpkins to choose from, but that would have been okay if they would have allowed us to buy them after nothing else being any good! But no, they shut their credit card machine down and told us can't sell them to us. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! Family was not happy at all. How do you tell a kid, sorry can't buy that pumpkin you just specially picked out. 2 thumbs down!"

You can find it on the web. In the summer they do tractor tours around the City Of New Paris. Every October they have a haunted chicken coop. You can also buy pumpkins. They used to sell fresh eggs and milk but no longer do. They also sell country store items, such as chairs, candles, exc. It's been there a long time.
