farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm
stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple
roadside stands. Most have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it
fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn
maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of
course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free.

Christmas tree farm (and enjoy a bonfire, smore, hot chocolate and

Shine). Directions: 2 km down Endall Road on the left until you see
our sign. Please do not go by house numbers. Payment: Cash, Debit
cards, Visa/ MasterCard. Small hay maze for children to run through.
Small petting zoo with a pig, a turkey, some goats, 2 baby water
buffalos, and a ram. Even a fire in the pumpkin patch that you can sit
around!! Pick Your Own Pumpkin right from their acre and a half
Pumpkin Patch. Wander through a Hay Bale Maze, play some Festive Fall
Games, and have memorable photos taken in the Pumpkin Photo Booth.
Admission is FREE. Carving Pumpkins vary in price based upon the size
you select. Coastal Black is also the home and production facility of
Big D's Bees Honey, established by Daniel Ludwig in 2007. Dan and
Justine Ludwig utilize their 600 colonies of honeybees to pollinate
the pumpkins, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries on their
family farm. School and Group Tours to our Pumpkin Patch will be
available weekdays in October. Children will learn about how pumpkins
are grown and the important work done by honeybees on the farm. Each
child in the class will be able to pick their own pumpkin from the
Pumpkin Patch and carry it home with them. Delicious Hot Apple Cider
and Hot Chocolate made with their own Big D's Bees Coco Honey, and
experience a warm and special family tradition in the pumpkin patch.
