Halloween activities in Northern Georgia? Scroll down this page and you will see the
all of those in Northern Georgia, sorted by county. Some are
farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm
stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple
roadside stands. Most have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it
fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn

click here for a map and directions. Burt's farm we have pumpkins that range from an eye
popping 150 lbs. to a modest 1 lb. We
grow thousands of pumpkins, so the selection is vast and the quantity is
never ending. One of the most
fascinating features of Burt's farm is the impressive selection of every
type of pumpkin, winter squash, gourds and fall decoration.
Indian corn, cornstalks and hay bales are also in never ending supply
at the farm. We also offer hayrides and fieldtrips pulled by our John Deere
tractors that take you through a winding trail filled with nature and
beauty. Don't forget to verify the "barn" store for Burts fresh
baked pumpkin pie and pumpkin roll, candied popcorn and a whole assortment
of other goodies, also shop for Burt's farm wear and other fall decorations.
A visitor writes on September 11, 2010: "Burt's Farm is an annual
part of our family's fall activities, we take the 4 1/2 hour drive at
least once during Autumn to take a hayride, look at pumpkins, take tons
of pictures and eat fried pies and their other goodies. We believe it is
worth the long drive from South Georgia to Dawsonville. Burt's has the
most incredible atmosphere of fall harvest fun and old fashioned
'sweetness' that you can hardly find anywhere anymore. Pumpkins are
available in every conceivable size and variety whether you plan to
decorate, cook or just admire them- if you don't see a pumpkin you want
at Burt's, you won't find one anywhere. Please don't skip a visit to
Burt's if you are a pumpkin farm fan, it is worth the drive for the
photo ops alone! My concern is finding a way to explain a need to go to
Burt's when our kids are grown! Some things you never outgrow, I believe
Burt's Farm is one of those things. Happy Pumpkin Hunting! "
