by a visitor, ADDED: April 01, 2015)
A visitor writes on April
01, 2015: "It was very nice, the hay ride was free when we went.
The pony ride was a dollar or two. The corn box was set up more as
something to stand beside and play with the farm toys rather than sit
in it and swim around. Althou gh a small toddler or two could plop on
in. Still very fun. There are animals in the pictures on facebook, but
I do remember if they were available for petting or viewing."

"My friends and I go
to homestead farm (Poolesville, MD) every year for Apple and Pumpkin picking.
This is the first year that we are going to do Strawberries. They have their own
canned goods and cider, hayrides, and fun activities for the kids in summer and
autumn. It's an easy ride outside of DC or from VA (and no, there are NO
farms in DC to have any PYO). I love your site! thank you for your VERY valuable
service! :) "
