Looking for a local pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayride, gourds and other
Halloween activities in Eastern Ohio? Scroll down this page and you will see the
all of those in Eastern Ohio, sorted by county. Some are
farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm
stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple
roadside stands. Most have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it
fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn
maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of
course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free.

- Barnesville Pumpkin Festival - Halloween events and pumpkins

[email protected]. Each year the crowd travels in from afar to see the
"King Pumpkin" weigh in, in which $1.00 per pound is paid to the
harvester of the heaviest pumpkin. The most recent winner who has
won for the third consecutive time, tipped the scales at 1279 one half
lbs. Other Festival activities include carnival rides, a queen
pageant, a classic and antique car show, entertainment on two
stages, talent show, hog-calling and tobacco-spitting contests, and
a giant pumpkin parade. Marking its 41st year, the 2004 event will
be held on the streets of Barnesville on September 23-26.

Randy's Raisins' is a local farmer's fruit and vegetable stand. They also
feature a nice greenhouse of plants. In the fall, they have a corn maze and
hayride to their pumpkin patch. It's beautiful located in a pretty little
valley that's safe and quiet."
