Looking for a local pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayride, gourds and other Halloween activities in Salem and Yamhill, Polk, Lincoln, Benton, Linn, Marion and Jefferson counties? Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands. Most have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. ALWAYS call before you go to confirm the info, they don't always report changes to me!

    "We have visited farms all over the Willamette Valley and this is my favorite because it is so complete. In addition to pumpkin picking and hay rides. They have pony rides for tots, a number of activities for tots, a very complete farm store with produce, pies, cider, crafts. They have a very good dining area set up with hot dogs, soups, chili and a bunch of other goodies. There is also a horse drawn carriage ride good for family or couples. Anyway, I highly recommend this farm just south of Portland."
