snacks, pumpkins (both mini and full-size)."
A visitor writes on
October 08, 2010: "My kindergartner went to Walden Farm on a
school field trip and I went too. I can't say enough about how great
this farm and the staff were. The hay ride was well done and not too
long. There was plenty of staff to help and guide. They did a great
job of teaching the kids about pumpkins, farming and even showed
them how a smoke house works. Great corn maze and pumpkin and gourd
selection. The farm animals were also fantastic. Lots of animals
that were obviously well cared for and the animals were explained
and educational opportunities were plentiful. Many photo-ops too!!.
Bathrooms available and really a clean farm. It's worth the trip.
Support these great people and this great farm."
A visitor writes on
September 22, 2010: "My friends and I go every year and LOVE
their customer service. They are helpful and kind and if they notice
you with arms full, they often get a cart or help carry your items
to the check out. GREAT selection and size of pumpkins and tons of
gourds and other fall things. I'd highly recommend for children and
families, as well."

Acres of undeveloped land. We have wooded trails on about 17 acres
of the land with various rooms and scenes. We have added or changed
4 new rooms this year and continue to revamp others . Most of our
actors have been in the business for years and are ready and waiting
to make themselves the stars in your nightmares. We are family
friendly, no drugs, alcohol or cursing will be tolerated from our
actors, unfortunately we can not control all of the customers
manners, but if anyone gets out of hand and does not follow the
rules they will be escorted out by Security. Please come and enjoy

we can not make that decision for you. Thank you for visiting our

A visitor writes on October 13, 2010: (positive)
"What a charming and fun tour! We had a group of about 25-30 people
together, half of those being young children between the ages of
1-5. We were told that the tour was geared mostly toward the older
children, but as it turned out all of the little ones had a great
time any way, as did the adults. They were able to enjoy the
demonstrations, sampling, and hands-on experience of learning about
the orchard, and how they grow and make their products that are sold
in the shop. The tour began with a few demonstrations in the barn,
and then we went on a walk through the orchard seeing all the
different types of trees and hearing about pollination, honey bees,
how the weather affects the crops, etc. The little ones were pretty
engaged for the most part, and got to volunteer for demonstrations.
Unfortunately due to the extremely bad weather this season (not a
lot of rain and extreme heat) the apple trees did not fair as well
as recent seasons, so nobody was allowed to actually pick an apple
from the tree themselves this time, but everyone was able to sample
some apples, cider, and honey (delicious!). Best of all, at the end
of the tour everyone was giving a very nice goody bag with delicious
apples to take home. After the tour was is over, some of us brought
blankets and enjoyed our picnic lunch there at the orchard. We had a
lot of fun and took a lot of pictures. The owners/tour guides were
knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend visiting this
orchard. The shop was nicely stocked with fresh apples, honey, farm
made jam, and other local and home grown produce - oh and some neat
specialty items! "
A visitor writes on October 13, 2010: (positive)
"We loved the tour and the apples given on 10-9-10."

- "The people who own this Orchard are very rude. I have been twice thinking
maybe the first time they were just having a bad day. I was there for a
homeschooling group. Not sure why they do child tours because it is obvious
they are very annoyed by children. I would never go back."
