"MY FAMILY AND I WENT TO THE FARM THIS WEEKEND AND MY KIDS LOVED
EVERYTHING! I HAVE A 4 YEAR OLD AND AN 18 MONTH OLD THEY SMILED ALL
DAY LONG. FOOD WAS GREAT, THE ANIMALS WERE "COOL", AS MY SON SAID,
AND THE HAYRIDE WAS FUN FOR EVERYONE. "
A visitor writes on October 20, 2010:
"My family and I visited last weekend and we had a blast!!! The
employees are very nice and fun to be around. The kids had fun on
the 4 moonwalks, petting zoo, hayride and maze. They even had camel
rides! The pumpkins were all so pretty but no they weren't grown
there. The farm prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be
going back next year! Very happy we chose this farm to visit!"
A visitor writes on October 19, 2010:
"I went out to Pettit Creek Farms this past weekend, it's just down
the road from me and despite the other "visitors comment", I thought
it was fantastic!!!! Great farm fun, hayrides, petting zoo with a
baby camel, sheep, goats, some animals you couldnt touch including a
wallabies, porcupines, tortoise' and a huge snake!!! Had a blast
with my kids on the 4 bounce moonwalks they had set up, the Maze was
decent, and the Eurobungie, my new favorite ride! The employees were
very nice and although the pumpkins clearly werent grown there,
there were alot to choose from. and it was only 3$ to get in!!!!"
A visitor writes on October 05, 2010:
"I just want to inform others how disappointed me and my family were
while visiting Pettit Creek Farms. I think it was over priced and
not worth the money spent. The corn maze was overgrown with weeds
only saw two stalks of corn. The petting zoo was just a few animals
in a fenced in pen that the children had to stick their hands
between the fence. Also still had to pay and additional $1.00 to
feed them. The hayride was okay but the tour of the property was a
sight for sore eyes. Very junky and run down. The pumpkin patch was
hardly one at all. Just a few pumpkins laying on the ground. This
attraction was awful and not worth the money at all!!!! Very
disappointed! "

Additional notes:
Hayrides through an 80-acre portion of the
farm. Kids can pet goats and our Holstein
calves. It's guaranteed to bring
squeals of delight -- and not all from the
animals! There's plenty of room for kids to be kids on the farm, and we have
a great KIDS KORNER for just that. And you can plan to visit our Concession Stand for other goodies,
too. We'll have popcorn, corn dogs, Georgia's famous boiled peanuts, all
kinds of drinks, corn on the cob ...
the pumpkin
patch, and lots more The dairy barn
is a favorite farm destination for kids! Dairy barn school field trips
will include a milking demonstration, as well as information on milk
processing. Children will also learn about different products made from
milk.
NOTE from Blake, October 2019:
This has got to be my favorite farm in Georgia! What a great farm! My family enjoyed a day there. We found
everyone was friendly, and there was so much to do, from hayrides, cow
train, corn maze (with tall corn) farm animals and more! The jumping
pillow was a great way to let the kids wear themselves
out!
See the photos of Southern Belle Farms from our visit
here. Some years, the maze designs have themes: 2008's maze was cut to look like the University of
Georgia Bulldogs football announcer, Larry Munson.

Blake writes on October, 2016: "I just visited the
farm today, and this is one of the best run I've seen. The farm
is so huge, they can handle large crowds without it feeling crowded.
They are staffed up with plenty of people so you don't have to wait.
You'll find the owners out there working, grilling burgers, calling
the pig races and making sure every is working smoothly! And the employees were all friendly, courteous and encouraged you to
have fun! The concession stand had good big hamburgers, hot dogs,
chili dogs kettle corn, ice cream, drinks and more. They have full
service restrooms, not mere porta-potties. The mazes had 9ft
tall corn and were fun; you could use a map and wing it! I HIGHLY
recommend Washington Farms!"
A
visitor writes on October 10, 2010: "We just got back from the
Watkinsville Farm and it was great! They really have it organized well
and the people were so nice. We have a 2 1/2 year old and a 1 year old
and they were very entertained with the baby farm animals, pig races,
cow ride, bounce, and hay bales. They had a nice concession are and
provided plenty of shade as well. I have been to several pumpkin
patches this year and so far this was the best. We will definitely go
back next year."

Click here for our Facebook page. Our 33 acre farm is for
agritainment. We have a 1/2 mile walking trail and hay maze. The
walking trail is a scary attraction with props, sounds systems,
lighting and over 35 actors dressed as zombies, ghosts, and
hillbillies. Other activities like story telling and marshmallow
roasting. This October event is a unique alternative to all the kiddie
corn mazes and predictable haunted houses. The zombie apocalypse is
upon us. Come to Zombie Farms and witness the dawn of a new era
instead of hiding in your home and barricading the doors and windows.
The government media complex would have you believe the undead must be
feared and destroyed. One farmer knows better. He has discovered the
secret to repressing the blood cravings of the undead and putting them
to better use. So when you see strange slow moving scarecrows working
nearby fields fear not. The solution to the crippled economy and
global climate change is at hand: a labor force that will require no
payment, never complain, never pollute the environment, and never
rest.
